Anatomy of a Website
Choose a Stage
Plug it in!
This is were we build out the site. Usually this is page by page or building a database of some kind.
Plug in Content
From text to html
Now that the site is nearly constructed, it's time to roll out the carpet and hang the curtains. You should have finished most–if not all–of the content that was requested as part of the initial Presentation stage of the project because it's needed — now. Just like the visual concepts that had to be implemented in the last phase, the content that you've written won't magically transform itself into HTML, and it will take a little time to format it into a presentable format.
Changes are complicated
To stay on track with the forecasted launch dates, it is important to come prepared. Changes, especially at this point, can lead to drastic complications. Although not always impossible, each change or addition in the site's structure and content leads to delays in the project which ultimately increases the final cost. So, to keep things on budget and on time, it's in your best interest to come prepared with all of your content, because it is your content.
