Salsa 2 Night is an online salsa community that was conceived by Latin Music Entertainment. Salsa2night.com is geared towards salsa fans of all ages that wish to meet up online with other fans of the genre and share information. Much like MySpace or other social networking websites, Salsa2night.com enables users to keep in touch and easily communicate with each other, although within a more niche community.
Frye / Wiles built the Salsa2Night social networking/scheduling software from the ground up. Features developed for this unique website include the ability to add users and user information in multiple ways, event promotion, and a comments section to quickly communicate with other users of the website.
Users can upload and share photos, as well as add friends and favorites among bands, clubs and DJ's. Salsa2night.com was developed with an AJAX driven interface, for faster Internet loading and provides for a lighter server load. In addition to the programming aspects of the website, we designed the logo and developed the overall look of the social networking site as well. Salsa 2 Night could be poised to become a salsa music staple in the online music community.
