Riverside Renaissance

In order to keep the cities residences in the loop, the city employed Frye / Wiles to design a website for the Renaissance project.

Riverside Renaissance is a 1.7 billion dollar investment in the future of Riverside, California. The Riverside Renaissance is the most elaborate public investment program in the city's long history and is responsible for improving a host of community necessities including: traffic congestion, replacing aging water, sewer, and electric infrastructure; improving and expanding police, fire, parks, education centers, and other community facilities. All of these needed improvements will enhance the standard of living for Riverside residents, businesses, and visitors. The massive work being done with the Riverside Renaissance will ensure that the City of Riverside maintains its status as the capital of the Inland Empire.

The City of Riverside contracted Frye / Wiles to fast track the design of a website devoted to the Riverside Renaissance. The website had to be easily accessible to visitors of the website as they get informed about the many projects involved with the Renaissance. We decided to design the website with bright colors and bold navigational buttons to ease the process of searching for a specific project or improvement section. We also added a featured projects section and a search by location section on the front page to further enable visitors of the site easy access to relevant information.

Additionally we included Flash elements into the website illustrating some of the notable projects in the renovation process. At any time, residents and visitors to the website can get an update on all the projects associated with the Riverside Renaissance projects page.
